Hey all, apologies for the wall of text.
I’ve been working out at the campus gym for about 2 years. I’ve lost a considerable amount of weight (around 30 lbs) and replaced it with muscle. I’d say I’m pretty darn fit. Occasionally I’d catch girls looking at me, start small talk sometimes, but yesterday I met this girl who is completely different from the others and I’m not sure about what to do.
I went to the gym yesterday morning at around 9am, and there were about 5 or 6 people there. This very cute girl approached me at the end of my dumb bell bench press sets (with my headphones on) and sparked up a conversation with me – asking me random questions about fitness and health. For example, she wanted to start doing some muscle training but she was a bit embarrassed to ask other people and she was too scared to attempt exercises by herself. Long story short, I gave her a few tips and even assisted her in a few exercises (I tried my best not to stare @ obvious places). We talked for about an hour about various things, such as school, where we live, how often we go to the gym/what times… then I had to leave because of work. She asked me what time I went to the gym and how often I visited, saying she was going to try to come at around the same times.
I’m very interested in this girl…so I’m wondering if anyone has similar experiences. If so, what should I do? I don’t want to come on too fast without knowing if she’s interested… and I’m not sure as to whether or not she thinks of me as just a free personal trainer (sigh) or if she decided to talk to me of all people because she’s interested.

I am already on a diet (but obviously sometimes i eat something un healthy…)
well i’ve been out of school for about 2 1/2 years now and i haven’t really exercised during that time because of jobs etc…
i want to start running during the week (preferably in the morning) …since i haven’t in such a long time, what should i start out doing? and what should i do to prep to run and etc things…like how long, and how far, and should i start with walking or jogging?
i have a dog who can come with me!
also,
what are some tips for getting up earlier, and going to bed earlier?
i am a STRAIGHT UP night owl and i’m really lazy about getting up early in the mornings but since i’m wanting to start exercising so that i can become fit and healthy…tips??

i’m 15, 5’4 or 5’5, and around 146 pounds. i’ve been struggling with my weight forever. i’m the kind of person that isn’t visibly fat until you wear a bathing suit or something. i’m not just another teenager trying to become a twig, because that’s not what i want. i know for a fact i’m slightly over weight and i want to do something the healthy way to fix that.
when i went grocery shopping i bought 4 mini corn on the cobs, steamable peas, steamable califlower, and steamable broccoli. i also bought kozy shack rice pudding as something to snack on, and yes i checked the calories.i bought mini gatorades and waters, i bought carrots, bananas, and two packs of low fat chicken breast. some other stuff probally but i can’t remember.
for exercise i usually ride my bike two miles in the morning and two miles at night. but today since there was nothing else to do i biked twice that. why not?
will this help me loose the weight i want to loose? i’m willing to be patient. any other tips or suggestions you have would be appreciated : ) thaaaank you

i am right now above 138 pounds
i am 12 yrs
my height is 5 inches and a half inch..means – 5”5.5
and…this is my daily routine as to what i do to lose my weight..see if it is correct and give me tips as to how i can improve it -
1. morning i wake up and drink 2 glasses of water
2.i have my tea
3.then i drink lots of water again in between the 3 hours
4.at 1 in the afternoon i eat my lunch..little rice,and some vegetables
5.then the whole day i try to drink as much as water that i can
6.i do some dancing for half an hour and some other exercises for another half an hour.
some yoga in the morning
thats it..so plz help me !!!!!!
tell me what i can do to improve my schedule
some other weight loss tips
some exercises on some website
and some other things….your answers will be appreciated

ok i get all your answers but……..is it ok is i stop the diet and eat normally as i used to eat before but do exercises as well?

I’m 18 and I need a job. Almost 19 stopped partying about to quick smoking weed for a while and continue to exercise I want to find a job I go to school 730 til 1130 in the morning. I have no bills besides car insurance and gas. Where are places I should apply?

I just started eating a low-cal diet and exercising this week. So far i have lost 3 lbs.
i was wondering what i should be eating for breakfast that would be healthy, low calorie and energizing.
right know i’m eating 200 cal cereal with whole grain and skim milk. But would protine or fruits be better in the morning?
any other healthy eating tips are welcome!

I wear make up everyday, so I thought that if Im going to exercise I should remove all my make up and wash my face before and after I exercise?? Will that be too drying for my skin though because I wash my face in the morning and night and now before and after exercise too… thats mean i wash my face 4 times a day. And I have salicylic acid in my facial wash as well because I have lots of acne, do you think that will be ok?? I can’t change my facial cleanser because my mum wouldn’t allowed me because she said it cost too much.
And do you have any tips on weight lost for teenager. A healthy one please because Im still growing (LOL!!)
Another question: If a teen girl age 13, going to lose some weight and if she eat less and not enough of all the nutrients she need (carbohydrate, protein etc..) what will happen to her?? Will she stop growing taller and will her boobs stop growing???

I have had acne since I was about 15. I am now 20 and thought it would be gone by now…
I use some proactive products, St. Ives facial scrub, and a foam face scrubber.
I exercise daily and eat fairly healthy, and drink lots of water.
I wash my face in the morning and follow it with the Proactive toner and lotion, doing the same at night.
I wear light MAC studio fix NC 15 makeup during the day, but not too much.
Any tips on how to alter my approach to controlling my acne issue?

So I want to lose weight
I started my diet last week
and this is how i exercised:
- 30min brisk walk/jog in the morning w/dog
- 1 hour on exercise bike in the afternoon
AND NO I’M NOT OVERWORKING MYSELF
my body enjoys it and is responding positively
every week i want to add 20 minutes to my daily physical activity
so this week i added:
- 10min of sit-ups
- 10min of weight lifting
But if I continue adding 20min every week, will my body start to breakdown and get tired??
what is the most amount of time i should be exercising every day
btw I’m female, 16, 5’6, 140lbs
i’m not unfit, i’m used to being physically active but not like this
and i want to lose 15 lbs in the next 7 weeks
and tips & advice appreciated

I’m a 14 year old. I need to get myself fit, so I’ve got to either go to the gym, or workout at home. But when is it best to do these exercises? Morning, afternoon or night? Before or after meal? How long after a meal? For how long should I engage myself in workout. What should I take in my diet to help in my body-building? Besides, if I go for jogging, should I go in the morning, or evening? Can you give me some tips, because I’m new over here.
