how much weight can i lose in 7 weeks?!?


I’m 19, 5’2, and weigh about 145.
my ultimate goal is to lose 25 pounds.
i know i can’t do that in 7 weeks…but…IN 7 WEEKS i have an event to attend, and i’d like to look good & most important, feel confident.

i have a sort of plan, tell me how this looks, and what else i can do to get healthy..

monday/wednesday/friday/sunday : run for about an hour.
tuesday/wednesday/thursday: do other exercises;; like crunches, jump rope, ride my bike, (in-line) skate, etc.

also, no more : fast food, junk food, sodas.

i usually eat a yogurt or a fruit in the mornings.
WHEN I GET A CHANCE TO EAT LUNCH, i eat a sandwhich.
then dinner (which is usually around 7pm since that’s the time i get home from work), i usually eat chicken, rice, vegetables, or something like that.

then no food after my dinner. only water.

any helpful tips?
i’d really appreciate it.

& please no ” cut a limb off” answers.

this is important to me, please don’t take it as a joke. THANKS. =]
*that’s only supposed to be tuesday/thursday* =]

(i get to ‘rest’ on saturdays.)

oh & when i was in high school, i cheered, & in about a month i lost close to 20 pounds.

i just don’t know if my body still works that way.

how can i lose 20 pounds in a month?


hello everyone and thank you for stoping by to read my question.i would like to know how can i lose about 20 pounds in 1 month.of course by adding some exercises.do u have any good tips that i might need and recipes that would help me out.im tired of drinking pills that don’t work please can anyone serioustly help.also im always feeling blowded and i sometimes it takes me almost about 4 days withough going poop so probably this is why im not losing alot of weight,have any tips of what i coud drink to help me go to the restroom more often.i have try activa yogurt and prum juice,virgin olive oil in the mornings,or fiber foods.n none happend to work

WILL DOING THIS HELP ME LOSE WEIGHT?


-eaitng breakfast every morning ( i usually don’t )
-eating 3-4 whole fruits a day
-no junk food
-smaller meals with less fat and stuff
-a lot of water
-these ab workouts with like 25 reps each?

Lose 25lbs in about 3 months?


I am 5’8 and weigh about 150. I am not overweight, but I want the “bikini” body by summer. I am 23 years old, and I used to play tennis on a daily basis and kept the body I was happy with, but I have gotten married, work a full time job, etc. I have started running on the eliptical machine in the mornings before work and in the evenings after work (30 min each). I already eat a healthy diet, I think what I am lacking is the exercise! So, those of you have done this or know about this, is two 30 min cycles good enough to reach my goal? I want to drop 20-25lbs in a few months, and just looking for some tips. Thanks!

Would this be a good diet plan to lose weight?


I kinda have been thinking about a good, healthy diet plan to help me lose about 15 pounds before school starts this August.
Do you think I would lose weight (the healthy way) by eating:

Breakfast:
100% whole wheat bread with peanut butter on it and some cheese with a glass of milk (lots of protein)

Lunch: an apple and some peanut butter (protein), and maybe some other fruits and veggies

Supper: Some lean chicken or fish (protein) with a side salad (no dressing) with an egg in it (protein) or vegetables.

I also gave up all fast food, sugar, soda, cookies, cake, brownies, chips, candy, soft drinks, and juice. I drink 8-10 glasses of water a day with the cup of milk in the morning. I also take a multi-vitamin everyday. I’m gonna be walking about an hour everyday with my mom. (cardio) and doing other stomach, leg, and arm exercises. I want to lose about 2 pounds a week because I heard if you lose more, you’ll gain it back once you finish your diet. Would I lose weight this way? If not, please give me some tips on what would be better choices in my diet plan. Thanks!! :)

trying HARD to lose 5 kgs :-)?


hey…im a 23 yr old girl…my height abt 5’3 and currently im weighing between 56-58…a year ago i used to be 52kgs and before dat 48kgs…

now im struggling to coem bck to atleast 50kgs in a few months…and i need some gud help please.
i just need to know if my eating habits and exercises are gud enough or not and i specially need to lose from arnd my sides.

morning 10 i have 2 slices of wholemeal bread with fresh orange juice…then at 3 i go for my aerobics class for an hour…in between i just take a fruit or drink water.

then wen i reach home arnd 4.30 i take a few bites of lunch and sleep and den finally have a proper dinner.

i am not exactly over weight so it shudnt be difficult to come down to my old weight.

i just need some tips and also if its okay to have wholemeal bread daily 2 slices.

i find counting calories very complicated so dont want to get into dat but ive stopped all my junk intake…like before i used to have 3 chocolate bars in a day but now since 3 days i havent had a single one :-)

How can I lose weight fast and effectively?


Hey, I’d like to lose weight this summer, about 30 lbs or so. I don’t expect to lose all of it during the 3 month period but at least 10 lbs, to see my difference. I want to stay fit and feel better about myself so I am planning on doing my diet. I know that you need to reduce your calorie intake, reduced carb, all that but I plan on going for more towards portion control and frequent meal. I am in high school so I don’t have full control over what I eat (mom makes food, etc). However, I plan on exercising (running/jogging). So will I lose weight if I do this? Can you give me some tips? Is it better to run in the night time or early in the morning? How many miles is a good workout to burn fat and lose weight? Do I have to go to gym? (low budget atm). Help me! I also plan on drinking LOTS of water. Help! food items to avoid like potatoes, etc?

Is this a good way to lose weight? Plz help me!!!?


Well, I am a 14 year old female, weigh 130 lbs (pounds) and am exactly 5 feet tall, and I am going on vacation soon, and was hoping to lose some weight before that time comes. I am going to Mexico in one month. My diet plan is to have a bowl of that Special K cereal in the morning with 2 cups of water, for lunch I would have fruits/ fruit salad with 2 cups of water, for supper i would have lean meats and a glass of 1%milk and 3 hours before bed i would have vegetables (mostly green)with 2 cups of water. For snacks (usually 1 a day) i would have a handful of almonds, beef jerky, or triscuits (which are basically crackers). With the snack I would drink one more glass of water. For exercises, i plan to do weight training/sit ups etc, 4 days a week for 30 minutes- 1 hour, and for the other three days of the week, I would do 20-30 minutes of High inensity interval training (HIIT). How much weight do you think I can lose in one month? Any suggestions, tips or tricks? Am I doing something wrong? And can you suggest some actual weight exercises? If possible can you share one of your weight loss stories (if you have one) so i can have a reference? Sorry for this long question, but i am kind of desperate. Please answer and thank you for your time and consideration.

How To Lose 20-30 Pounds By Thanksgiving?


hey y’all. i’m 16 years old, 5’2” and 139 pounds. according to my bmi, this is overweight. i’d like to get down to a healthy weight of around 110-115 by Thanksgiving when we have our huge family reunion. But i had some questions about how to go about losing this weight.

*i know you’re supposed to drink a ton of water, but each website i look at gives me a different amount, and i know that drinking TOO MUCH water can like shut off your liver or something like that. so how much water should i be drinking each day?

*i’m thinking about going on the South Beach Diet, but i’m a vegan. can i still do it with drinking unsweetened soy milk instead of normal milk and having like soy cheese and veggie burgers and stuff?

*since i’m a vegan, i know that i’m not getting enough vitamins from foods. so right now i’m taking a multivitamin, a b12 supplement, and a calcium + vitamin D supplement every morning. is this all i need? or are there other vitamins that i should be taking?

*as far as working out goes, i have like basically NO TIME during the week. i have like 30 minutes a day during the week, but then as much time as needed on the weekends. what are some good, fast workouts that are still effective?

*what are some good exercises to tone my butt/thighs/abs?

*any other weight loss tips? like, are there any supplements or something that i should consider? please nothing too expensive and something that can be bought at like cvs or walgreens.

oh, and i have a wii fit. i’m thinking about using it to do like 15-20 minutes of yoga before bed. and maybe doing some of the balance games for another 10 minutes. will that help with weight loss or will it not make a difference?
