I have trouble focusing and I just feel like I don’t have much energy. How can I feel more awake?


A bit more information: I get about 7-8 hours of sleep every night. I work 5 days a week from 8 am – 4 pm. I have a cup of coffee in the morning. I eat things like oatmeal, waffles, tuna, pasta, frozen meals, hamburgers, green beans, shredded wheat, brownies. I drink water (possibly not as much as I should). I was exercising more often but I got out of a short term relationship (I was a little upset) about a month ago and haven’t really gotten back into the walking/resistance training. I stretch a little bit but probably not as much as I should (I do notice a boost in energy from a little stretching).

My main issue is I’ll get to work and just zone out. It’s not that I don’t like my job, I want to get things done more than anything, but I often find myself feeling drained and I’m not quite sure why.

Any tips on getting better would be much appreciated. I want to just be a ball of energy but I simply feel like I can’t. Thanks.

im gaining weight like crazy?


Hi,
well this morning i checked my weight and i saw that i gained alot of weight since the last time i cheked…not just a little, a LOT.
I was wodering why i gained so muchh then in came to me. The reason is because i eat so much! I eat alot of snacks, sweets when im not even hungry. I do it when im bored or just because it’s so good. I alwys sneak food into my bedroom and it’s always junk.
I’m still skinny, but i know if i keep going the i am ill get fat. Im going to start exercising, but how can i stop my eating habbit?
But i dont want people telling me that i should use this pill or powder to loose weight because i want to do it the natural way. I just want some tips on how to stop my eating habbits.
And is there a site i can go to that helps me loose weight. Kind of like the wii fit. it helps you make goals?

Hey Guitar Hero III players, can anyone recommend some hand exercises that would me up for songs like TtFaF?


In “Through the Fire and Flames” (Expert) I’m finally getting past the keytar intro more than half of the time. I can nail the bit right after that and maintain it while collecting some star power along the way, I usually screw up somewhere after the 40% mark, but it’s never the same; I always screw up in a different way. My farthest thus far is 69%.

I could probably use more practice with the parts leading up to the solos and the solos themselves, but can anyone reccommend some good warmups/excercises to keep my hands in good condition? I hadn’t played in weeks, then after playing “Impulse” I went right into TtFaF. I could handle it, but my hands quickly locked up on me, so I quit for the night. I’ll get a good night’s sleep and try again in the morning, but again, any tips you may have, please, share. Thanks.
Oh, and keep it clean. Gaming and sexual innuendo go hand in hand, but there are children about. :P

Does this sound like a good diet/plan?


Lipozene Pill.
Morning: 200 calories. (Oatmeal, special K bar, banana…etc)
Lunch: 300 calories.(Tuna sandwich, grapes,…etc)
Lipozene Pill.
Exercise: 1 hour. (Treadmill, weights etc…)
Dinner: Equate Weight Loss Shake. 180-230 calories.

Do you know any good works outs to loose belly fat, or other workouts?
please tell me your ideas.

I would like to change these aspects of myself! Advice on acne/weight/stretch marks?!?


Okay, so I just broke up with my boyfriend today, and you know, I decided it’s a great time to improve myself and make life what I want it to be, you know? (:

So!! First off!

I have very bad acne on my face, back, arms, and chest. And it’ll sometimes go down, but (like now) since it’s “that time of the month” it’s starting up again and I’m breaking out EVERYWHERE.

I have tried Proative, Netruogena, Retina, and a lot of stuff like that, so DO NOT just reccommend me that. Right now also, I’m trying Cetaphil facial wash and moisturizer for the past week, and it seems to work, but I’m not fully sure yet.

I drink more than 8 8oz glasses of water a day (much more).
I don’t drink soda (yuck ><).
I’m a vegetarian.
I live in Arizona, so I do get sweaty. :/
And I shower daily, and if I can, more than once (I like being clean XD).

Secondly!

I’m 133 pounds, 5′ 6″, and 14 years old. I know that’s normal and I’m not fat, but I would like to improve. I would like to at least be 115 pounds, but I don’t really go by weight, I go by what my body looks like.

My arms are really scrawny, but my legs and stomach are thick, so those are my problem areas. :/
Like I said, I’m a vegetarian and I have been for almost two years, so I eat pretty healthy. I try to exercise at least a little bit in the morning and at night. And for the past three days I have ate salad/fruit salad (REAL fruit salad, not the marshmellow kind :P ) for lunch, and grilled cheese for dinner and chesse sticks for snacks. Or even peanut butter and banana sandwhiches.

I can’t run, sadly. :/ I would, but my mom wants to wait till she gets us a treadmill because she “doesn’t trust people”.

So any specific excercises you would recommend? Or just tips to boost my metabolism?

Third (sorry there’s so much stuff XD).

I have stretch marks on my legs that I would REALLY like to get rid of! I have been trying Bio-oil and vitamin E oil, but it’s still sort of there. :/
Any tips?

Is this possible, eating & exercising like this?


DIET

BREAKFAST: Yogurt and 1/2 bagel(395 calories)

LUNCH:Big salad(290 calories)

SNACK:Apple(60 calories)

DINNER:Some meat, and veggies(350 calories)

SNACK:Another Yogurt.(150 calories)

Which comes out to a total of 1,145 calories.

EXERCISE

As for working out, I’ll go 5 or 6 weeks minimum. Either go once, for 1 1/2 hours or go twice a day, in the morning for 30 minutes & after work for about 1 1/2 hour.

Possible? Any tips?

I WEIGH 220 POUNDS.
i’m 15 also.
Oh & I forgot I wanted to lose about 30 pounds in 6 weeks.

This summer, I’d like to shed some pounds?


I am taking this acai berry juice stuff every morning.
& I take a colon cleanse.

Those are just to help me cleanse my body & boost my metabolism.

Also, I will be walking/jogging daily & exercising at home.
& I will start eating healthier.

But, I have a huge issue with STICKING to my diet.
I always cheat on my diet.
& then I make up excuses like “well, I’ll jog TOMORROW.”
or “I’m only going to eat this one slice of cake today. then tomorrow I’ll stick to my diet.”
But when tomorrow comes, I make up another excuse!

So, how can I stay motivated & not cheat on my diet?
I don’t need to lose a HECK of a lot of weight.
But, I do need to get into better shape & get toned.
I’d like to come back next school year with a better self esteem level for my body.

So, give me any tips, advice, exercises you do at home, etc.

If I really stick to the diet, & really do a good job, how much weight do you think I could lose?
Summer break is about 2 & 1/2 months.

I would really like to start getting into a jogging routine but…?


Okay, first of all…yes I want to start jogging, but I’m not sure if I should start walking first (since I haven’t had an exercise routine in a few months and have been doing absolutely nothing as far as exercise goes) or if I should just start jogging for a few minutes a day and slowly build that up and eventually jog for a lot longer?

I’m also not sure when I should go, I’d rather no one see me, especially since I’m just starting out…so I’m think early, early morning. It’s just…I’ve tried this a few different times and set my alarm for about 5:30 AM (another time at 6 AM, but I want to go when it’s a little darker out), but could not get myself to get up and actually do it. So I guess I’m lacking motivation as well.

So does anybody have any tips or suggestions? I would really like to get into jogging and exercising a lot more. I think it’ll really build up my confidence and self-esteem, plus I’ll be doing something good for my body.

“Good Morning” Would Like To Get Some More Tips?


I am the Proud father of a 3 1/2 week old Baby Boy Named Brody. I also have 2 children in there 20′s, so it has been a while since I have been a new parent. My son right now is going through the stage of colic and is a little fussy at points during the day and evening. He was at his Pediatrician last Friday, and she was really happy on how he is coming along.Brody was born 7lbs 10oz, when he left the hospital he was 7lbs 3oz, and last friday he was weighed at 8lbs 12oz. I asked the Dr about maybe changing his formula, but she said that if he dosent cry all the time( and he dosent, just got his moments) then the formula that he is on is one of the best out there, and has everything he needs. He is on Similac Advance Omega-3 & Omega-6 DigestEase Concentrate. I have tried Gripe Water Non Alcohol , and also Oval Drops, and the both of them do give him some comfort. I also make sure that he is well burped, I also have found that carrying in the Position called ” Football Carry” laying him on your arm belly down and his head cradled in your hand , also gives him some comfort. I also rub his little belly, and do his Bicycle exercises with his legs, and that helps getting his bowls moving.Like I said , its been a while since I have been a New Parent and just want him to be comfortable .
If there is anything else that the Mothers on this Site have found out that works, and willing to share it with me , I would be much appreciated.

I use Playtex Standard Liners. I have found that you are able to get All The Air out of the Liner, unlike the Drop -in system, and also found them alot stronger. They are the liners that you pull down over the edge of the bottle.
Brody loves his Stomach time. I try to do this as often as possible…These are some things that I have remembered from the past.
