I have a few questions about dieting and exercising…?


This is my lifestyle:

Monday-Friday:
Wake up at 6:30 to get ready for school
Get to school around 7:45/8
In school from 8:20 to 4
Dance from 6-9 (THIS IS ONLY ON WED.)
Run for 30 min. (THIS IS ONLY ON TUES. & THURS.)

Saturday:
Wake up around ten and get ready for dance
Get to dance around 11am
Dance from 11am-5pm
I have lunch break from 2:00-2:30 and we have water/snack breaks every once in a while throughout the day

SUNDAY-
Wake up whenever
Do pretty much nothing
Run for 30 min.
Dance from 7-8

Now here are my questions:
1. Everyone says I should eat 5 small meals a day, so what time should I eat each meal/snack?
2. Should I run longer? Because I’m not losing any weight. (Due to food probably, but I’m fixing that)
3. I’m thinking about running in the mornings for 20 min. Would that help in the losing weight and such?
4. Should I do other exercises besides dancing and running? If so, what?
5. Any more tips?

(I want to lose weight in my stomach area)

i want to start exercising?? what should i do?!?


I am already on a diet (but obviously sometimes i eat something un healthy…)
well i’ve been out of school for about 2 1/2 years now and i haven’t really exercised during that time because of jobs etc…
i want to start running during the week (preferably in the morning) …since i haven’t in such a long time, what should i start out doing? and what should i do to prep to run and etc things…like how long, and how far, and should i start with walking or jogging?
i have a dog who can come with me!

also,
what are some tips for getting up earlier, and going to bed earlier?
i am a STRAIGHT UP night owl and i’m really lazy about getting up early in the mornings but since i’m wanting to start exercising so that i can become fit and healthy…tips??

Exercising increases my appetite!!?


I do 40 min on the elliptical and another 40 min of weight training in the evening, 5 days week and one day just the elliptical. I have dinner after my workout and feel fine. The next day however, I’m starving! Especially about an hour after I wake up in the morning. I’m trying to lose about 10 pounds and want to tone up. The thing is, the more I exercise, the more I want to eat! I crave things like meat, chicken, fish and eggs, all protein stuff which I know are good for me but I feel like I want to eat A LOT of it. However, I don’t want to undo the progress I get from my workouts by pigging out the next day. I need good meal ideas, or an example of one day’s worth of food on a healthy eating plan (I hate the word diet.) I read up stuff online and there is just so much information that contradicts itself. I’m looking for tips/advice from someone who knows from personal experience. Did you still lose weight while eating more?

Is this possible, eating & exercising like this?


DIET

BREAKFAST: Yogurt and 1/2 bagel(395 calories)

LUNCH:Big salad(290 calories)

SNACK:Apple(60 calories)

DINNER:Some meat, and veggies(350 calories)

SNACK:Another Yogurt.(150 calories)

Which comes out to a total of 1,145 calories.

EXERCISE

As for working out, I’ll go 5 or 6 weeks minimum. Either go once, for 1 1/2 hours or go twice a day, in the morning for 30 minutes & after work for about 1 1/2 hour.

Possible? Any tips?

I WEIGH 220 POUNDS.
i’m 15 also.
Oh & I forgot I wanted to lose about 30 pounds in 6 weeks.

question about exercising….?


well I have been on weight watchers for 1 week now and I found out today that I lost 7.2 pounds. I am so happy. I now weigh 196!
I am just wondering what I can do to get more exercise. I am not a huge exerciser but I would like to start being.
well I would like to run but I cannot stand it…any tips on how to ease into running?
also are their any good exercises that help you lose that extra belly fat and also leg fat…up by my crotch.
I just do not know what kind of exercises I should be doing…Please help me!!
I need to know some amazing workouts that do wonders for you and also how to get in the habit of running each day…not in the morning but at night!!

How can I start exercising at home?


Hello All,

I have gained about 10 lbs. over the past 2 years because I haven’t been doing as much walking as I used to (I moved from NYC within those 2 years) and I haven’t been eating as healthy as I used to.

Therefore, I am hoping to get back into shape now that the weather has been cool enough to not risk a heat stroke while exercising… lol. I bought myself a Torso Track exercise machine recently but I haven’t seen/felt the results yet???? You know – that good achy feeling you get the day after exercising. I was considering starting to jog around my neighborhood since I see a lot of people doing it on my way to work in the morning. I’ve never jogged before. Any tips?

How long will it take before I see results from exercising?


I signed up at golds gym on Thursday and plan to go 5-6 days a week. I do 30 minutes of cardio on the epiliptical machine or I speed walk on an incline on the treadmill each time I go. I also do about 100 crunches, and lift weights with both my arms and legs about 50lbs right now, also 5 lbs of free weights now and then for about 20 minutes. I try to stay between 1200-1500 calories a day except one day a week when I have a cheat day. I also started taking an all natural vitamin/mineral supplement this morning. Any tips or tricks to help with the weight loss and also how long till I start seeing results? And about how long till I’m where I want to be? I’m 22 & weigh 124 and am 5’6 and have the stomache pudge and love handle thing going on, but hopefully not for to much longer.I just want to look toned and lean not super skinny. Thanks in advance!

How to keep up with exercising?


About a month ago I started running on the treadmill. This lasted a week. I suck at running, but I do like it. I also have resistance bands and I like doing that too. I know I need to build more strength for my job, as well as tone up a little more, but I can’t keep motivated at all!! I go to school in the morning and I can’t wake up earlier than I have to. Someone give me suggestions and or tips please? :D

How to start exercising?


I am already 18, and I have never done any exercises or stretching before, except PE courses. Well, I am only about 100-105 lbs… I am that skinny for a 5’4 girl.

I have a slightly bad posture, and I am now trying to gain weight for my skinny body. I plan to go to gym for the summer, right after the 2nd semester of school. But as of now, I want to improve my butt. I have small breasts and everyone says I gained weight (from the looks of it- my face is chubby!)

A while ago, just this morning, I started with lunges and squats, but I really have no idea if what I was doing were the right thing. It was only less than 5 minutes, and I was feeling tired already! Maybe because I still haven’t eaten breakfast?

Should I eat breakfast first before exercising in the morning? That’s probably the only time I am motivated, as I do a lot of activities in the afternoon till night.

Any other helpful tips?

Moving into my condo with my 2 dogs, need some tips on exercising them daily…HELP!!?


I will be moving into a condo soon with my 2 beloved canines, a jack russell and my little mini-rott, baby girl, not a regular size rott..anyway, i work 8 hours a day and don’t have anyone to walk them, because I have 2 dogs, if I pay a dog walker, or day care I will go broke and poor, I can walk them a lot at night, or a little in the morning, and a little at night…weekends are covered, i’m a 9-5′er, worried about leaving them alone all day and if I crate them i feel I’m being inhumane thinking they will get cage fever, is that true? Leaving them alone could be disaster in the making…anyone else in this predicament, or has been, what did you do? what awesome toys out there could possibly kill the time (tried kongs), then there is 7+hours left to their own devices…any cheaper dog walkers in the GTA that anyone knows of? I would slice my wrists before giving my dogs up, so please don’t suggest this as an option. There has to be some tips I may not know of
