I have a bit of a sweating problem.. I currently am using Secret Clinical strength waterproof deodorant. I put it on at night and in the morning like the package says, but it doesn’t really help. It has worked in the way that I don’t sweat through my shirts like I used to, but my armpits still feel wet after a few hours and its really uncomfortable and makes me self conscious as to whether there are stains and if I smell and what not. I sweat just sitting during school, so its not like I’m doing any exercising, so I don’t know what the problem is.. but its embarrassing!
Does anyone know the best cure for this problem? Or the best deodorant that might help (hopefully less than $20…)? Any tips are greatly appreciated!

Ok, so there is a dance at school on Saturday (Feb.14) and I have a cute dress and shoes and everything. I’m going to get a manicure the morning of the dance, and I started tanning so I won’t be pale! WOOHOO! Also, I recently got my hair done, so that’s fine. What I want help with is making sure my body looks its best for the dance.
I definitely don’t intend on crash dieting or over-exercising or anything drastic, but I was wondering if anyone had any good tips or pointers on how to make my body look good (like eating lots of veggies a few days before or something, to avoid bloating…. I don’t know) Anything that would help me is appreciated! Thanks =)

Hey everyone,
Here i am hoping someone will give me good tips on cycling to help me achieve my goal, which is to tone my legs a bit more.
I am going on holiday next week for 5 weeks and want to do some exercise while i’m holiday (in the mornings). When I was a teenager I really enjoyed riding my bike, however I am now 23 and haven’t ridden a bike in a very looooooooooong time so kind of have some questions as I must admit I am a little bit clueless on cycling.
So here’s where I need your advice:
1) Should i ride every single day or every other day (to give the muscles a chance to recover)?
2) How long will it roughly take to see some improvement (I know everyones metabolism is different and we all develop at different rates, but really just looking for an estimate)?
It would be great if you could answer to my queries and if you have any other useful advice/tips please feel free to share. Thank you in advance for your help.
Also will cycling make my muscles & outer thighs slightly bigger (by bigger i mean toned and kinda curvy!), as I DON’T want to lose weight and end up looking like a stick-thin celebrity :S
Thanks

I have finally had it with my stomach! I was playing Rock Band 2 the other day and it got really hot while I was drumming so I decided to take my shirt off. I then thought, this is kinda nasty. So the next day I went out and ran a mile. I got back and both my legs were throbbing and I could barely walk the next day. I then decided to rest a day to see if the pain would stop but it didn’t so I decided to bike for a little while (about 7 miles) and I cant tell if it is gonna help any at all. I wanna make an exercise schedule but I cant do that because of my odd hours at work (usually getting off at midnight so I sleep all morning) and I work at Sonic (a fast food place) so it’s hard not to eat unhealthy. So if you read all through this then could you please give me some tips on what I can do??
Oh and I don’t have any exercise equipment, nor can I afford any. Will running and cycling alternatively everyday help?
And I’m willing to change my eating habits but not a total diet.

Ok, so winter formal is on february 14…. which is basically 2 weeks from now. I want to make sure I have:
-a clear face
-a nice tan body
-a toned body and not feel bloated or anything
-good hair
Basically, I want to look extra good for the dance (not to seem conceited or egotistical or anything… who wouldn’t want to look good for a school dance?)
If you have any tips for me on how to achieve these things in 2 weeks, pleeease let me know them!
(p.s. I wash my face with a good cleanser every morning and night, I am going to a tanning salon every other day—no comments about how thats bad—and I eat healthy and exercise 3 days a week. I also use shine products for my hair and everything.)
Tips are greeeatly appreciated!
Thanks =)

Okay so I REALLY need to start working out or doing some type of exercise…I’m 20 years old and haven’t really done any exercise since back in High School…The problem is I work overnights so it’s pretty hard to fit in my schedule considering I work, come home, sleep and repeat…..
What kind of exercise would be the best to do when I come home in the morning before bed? I was thinking taking my dogs for a walk or something….Would that make it harder to fall asleep? Also I DO NOT need to lose weight, I’m 5’10 and about 125 lbs, if anything I need to gain some weight, I just want to try and stay healthy and active.
ANY SUGGESTIONS, TIPS, ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

So, I just started taking my bike out every morning on the trails surrounding my house. I find that halfway through I get sick, maybe I’m not eating the right type of food for the exercise I’m doing? I’m new to this whole exercise deal. Does anyone have any tips on the kinds of food I should eat before cycling/running? I drink lots of water, so I know I’m hydrated, but I’m lost as to what types of foods I should be eating so my body can draw from it the energy and nutrients it needs. Also, any foods I should avoid?

Hey, I am 17 years old, 5’6, and I weigh 154 pounds. I’m going to Europe in 45 days and I’d like to lose 30 pounds by then. I’m not going to crash diet or anything, I’m going to exercise more and eat healthier and all that good stuff. I’m also going to try to drink at least 70 ounces of water everyday. Is there something I can do, like in the morning, to kick-start my metabolism? Thanks.
Also, any other weight loss tips would be great =].

ok i really want to lostrart losing weight for a alot reasons
Not just becuase i want to fit into a size 3 or anything but so i can live longer and have a healthy active life
So i researched last night and kind of made up a start of exercise and start up healthy diet plan
Exercise:
10 minutes of jumping rope before i got to school
Then a walk before the morning bell rings (can be anywhere from 10-50 minutes) my school has alot of hills and stairs so a moderate paced walk through hills and stairs
Then i get home around 7:00 pm
and i need to STUDY ALOT
so maybe a 20 minute workout video
amd then during my studying ill had small times for jumping rope or jumping jacks (Ex. 20 minutes of studying 5 minutes of jumping rope or jumping jacks)
Then Monday,Wednesday,Friday ill do strength moves….i have a resistance band, and a few dumbells, and my own body weight
Is YOGA a good thing to do? would i count it as cardio or strength?
Healthy diet plan:
Example of one day
Breakfast: 1 1/2 eggs (93 cals)
1 peice of whole grain toast (80 cals)
1 bowl of special K cereal (160 cals)
and a banana (60 cals)
Total: 393 cals
Snack: a jell-o (30 cals)
Lunch: A Romain lettuce salad with grilled chicken tomatos,cucumbers,1 tbsp a colby jack cheese, 2 tbsps of light italian dressing (400 cals)
1/2 cup peaches (60cals)
Total: 460 cals
Snack: 100 calories pack of popcorn
Dinner:1/2 a cup whole grain pasta (200 cals)
1/4 cup tomato sauce (30 cals)
1 cup mixed vegetables (bell peppers, onion, garlic, broccoli) (90 cals)
Small side salad (50 cals)
Total:370 cals
Snack: orange (60 cals)
Total for day: 1413 cals
I really am not one to count calories too much
but im trying to stay in a 1200-1500 calorie range
is 1500 calories too much?
am i exercising enough?
ALL tips welcome
lol the last answer made no sense at all
it looks long and helpful but when you really read it , it sounds like a 6th grader typed it
haha
nice.
