This is my lifestyle:
Monday-Friday:
Wake up at 6:30 to get ready for school
Get to school around 7:45/8
In school from 8:20 to 4
Dance from 6-9 (THIS IS ONLY ON WED.)
Run for 30 min. (THIS IS ONLY ON TUES. & THURS.)
Saturday:
Wake up around ten and get ready for dance
Get to dance around 11am
Dance from 11am-5pm
I have lunch break from 2:00-2:30 and we have water/snack breaks every once in a while throughout the day
SUNDAY-
Wake up whenever
Do pretty much nothing
Run for 30 min.
Dance from 7-8
Now here are my questions:
1. Everyone says I should eat 5 small meals a day, so what time should I eat each meal/snack?
2. Should I run longer? Because I’m not losing any weight. (Due to food probably, but I’m fixing that)
3. I’m thinking about running in the mornings for 20 min. Would that help in the losing weight and such?
4. Should I do other exercises besides dancing and running? If so, what?
5. Any more tips?
(I want to lose weight in my stomach area)

I am 5’8 and weigh about 150. I am not overweight, but I want the “bikini” body by summer. I am 23 years old, and I used to play tennis on a daily basis and kept the body I was happy with, but I have gotten married, work a full time job, etc. I have started running on the eliptical machine in the mornings before work and in the evenings after work (30 min each). I already eat a healthy diet, I think what I am lacking is the exercise! So, those of you have done this or know about this, is two 30 min cycles good enough to reach my goal? I want to drop 20-25lbs in a few months, and just looking for some tips. Thanks!

FIRST, If you take the time to read all this, thank you so much.
I’m a female and I’m turning 20 in June. I’m currently the heaviest I’ve EVER been at 260 lbs and I’m only 5’4 tall… I’ve always been a big girl, even as a little kid, and when I was in high school (age 15-18) I wasn’t a very active person, but I’d at least been at a consistent weight of 220-225 lbs.
Now I’m 19 and for the past year I’ve been gaining weight like crazy. When I first noticed myself changing I had been stressed out and depressed because I owed my school money, was jobless, took a semester off to look for a job with no luck, so I spent a lot of my time indoors getting little to no physical activity. When I finally landed a job, I laid off just after two months because the business was extremely slow and the owners couldn’t afford to pay some of their employees.
Since the new year I’ve had a bit more luck and I’m working again. At work, I’m constantly moving around and it wore me out the first week I started but I’ve gotten used to it; I’ve been here for almost 3 months now. In addition to that, I started exercising almost every day (I watch 2-3 exercising shows on demand a few hours before I go to work), I cut out fast food and added a few more fruits into my diet (I’ve always eaten a lot vegetables and I already drink +/- 6 bottles of water a day) One bad thing I know I’m doing I sleeping really late. I work evenings, so I get home at 11, but I don’t go to sleep until 3-4, sometimes 5 in the morning, and I wake up around noon.
With my positive changes I actually feel happier and more energetic, but I haven’t seen much change in my appearance, yet. What do you think? I’m not expecting instant gratification, but I do feel like I’m doing some good things now so it’d be nice to have some insurance that I’m starting off on the right foot.
What do you think? What else should I incorporate into my routine? What should I avoid? Are there any foods or supplements I could benefit from or should look into?
Most importantly, what’s a realistic goal I should set for myself? Though it would be nice (and I’m sure even better for me) to be a lot smaller than I originally was, right now I want to focus on losing the 40lbs I’ve packed on, maybe an extra 10- 20 lbs or so would be good. I’d like to get it off before July, is that reasonable?
I’m very serious about taking this all off, so if you took the time to read all this and have any advice, tips, or other vital information I would deeply appreciate it.

I could sit down and eat and eat and eat all day long without losing my appetite. sometimes I”l continue to eat even when I’m full. the only thing thats keeping me from being obese is the fact that I’m a vegetarian and I don’t really eat that much dairy. I also don’t like candy and I don’t eat much junk food either. what I eat a lot of is carbs, like bread, pasta, cereal, and crackers. I do love fruits and veggies but I don’t eat them as much as I do everything else.
I’m not overweight, I used to be though…I try to exercise but I’ve grown bored with just going to the gym every morning, I don’t know what else to do…
but anyways, that’s not the point. my problem is that I have a very very large appetite, it’s hard for me to control it and if I keep at it I’ll be tipping the scales at 200 before long like when I was in high school. I don’t know what to do. I’ve always had a big appetite. the only way I could control was by taking appetite reducing pills, but I can’t keep relying on that stuff.
so what can I do??

Hey all, apologies for the wall of text.
I’ve been working out at the campus gym for about 2 years. I’ve lost a considerable amount of weight (around 30 lbs) and replaced it with muscle. I’d say I’m pretty darn fit. Occasionally I’d catch girls looking at me, start small talk sometimes, but yesterday I met this girl who is completely different from the others and I’m not sure about what to do.
I went to the gym yesterday morning at around 9am, and there were about 5 or 6 people there. This very cute girl approached me at the end of my dumb bell bench press sets (with my headphones on) and sparked up a conversation with me – asking me random questions about fitness and health. For example, she wanted to start doing some muscle training but she was a bit embarrassed to ask other people and she was too scared to attempt exercises by herself. Long story short, I gave her a few tips and even assisted her in a few exercises (I tried my best not to stare @ obvious places). We talked for about an hour about various things, such as school, where we live, how often we go to the gym/what times… then I had to leave because of work. She asked me what time I went to the gym and how often I visited, saying she was going to try to come at around the same times.
I’m very interested in this girl…so I’m wondering if anyone has similar experiences. If so, what should I do? I don’t want to come on too fast without knowing if she’s interested… and I’m not sure as to whether or not she thinks of me as just a free personal trainer (sigh) or if she decided to talk to me of all people because she’s interested.

Now, I know there are similar questions to this, but I’m going to be more specific.
Also, please state your source, its very helpful for me if I see where you got the info, even if its just personal experience
Im already in process of getting a voice coach, so dont worry about that. Instead, Im looking for more along the lines of everday tips:
1. Are there certain foods and drinks that I should shy away from or gravitate to? I hear rumors about dairy products—>are they good or bad to have before singing?
2. Is there anything I can do to soothe/massage/help/etc. my vocal cords in the morning or right before bed?
3. What sort of vocal exercises would you recommend?
4. Any other daily tips you have that I may have overlooked?
Thanks in advance!

I’m overweight and I’m really excited to start exercising more and feeling good. I start off great in the mornings but at work, during the day, I get these urges to eat. I tell myself no, but I never win that battle. After work I come home and pig out and just say, “Tomorrow, I’ll begin tomorrow.” UGH!! I hate it. Please someone help me with tips.

After years of bartending and bouncing,i have been hanging out in bars 5 nights a week for a loooong time. I have been too busy drinking to work out regularly. The mornings are usually pretty rough so exercise is the last thing on my mind, even though i know i should just grin and bare it. Lately, i have noticed some man boob on me. It is depressing. My girlfriend says she doesnt see it but i know what i see. I must get rid of this before it gets out of hand. I already feel like i cant be taken seriously. If anybody has any tips to eaily get rid of these disgusting bits of fat on my chest quickly i am all ears. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

as a puppy, id train him the basics: to walk on leash, come when called, houstrain, sit, stay, lie down, paw, and fetch (ive heard mastiffs are hard to make walk properly on a leash. any advice?)
as an adult, id walk him 20 mins in morning, 15 minute “romp” on a flexi leash on a field in the afternoon, then a 20 minute walk at night. throughout the walks, hed wear a doggy rucksack carrying weights (a friend of mine does this- she says its good because it brings out the working dog in them? true?) also, how much exercise is enough for these dogs? would i be doing enough or not enough?
i have a ample sized property with a medium sized yard, he will be outside frequently for potty breaks.
if after the first year he doesnt eat me out of house and home, il get another one
its my first dog, however i have lived with family dogs that are rottie mixes, i can deal with being in control with big dogs.
any tips also on this breed to make him live a happy life?! thaks in advance!
btw- i refuse to crate train. but i will confine my pup to one room. he will have many many toys to keep hi busy for the 6 hourse im gone.
when i get him, he will be 12 weeks old. im taking 2 weeks off work to care for him, and he will do his business outside. would he last 6 hours at 14 weeks old? i hope so, there is no one to let him out or see to him half way through, and im not hiring a pet sitter because tbh, i dont trust them. :s
well duh! im not just going to play with my dog for 15 mins! thats just outside on a leash! when i come home from work he will have my undivided attention playing fetch and snuggles!

Ok I haven’t been skinny in a long time, well about 5 years anyways and I’ve never had kids and my current weight is really stressing me out, I weighed 145lbs in 2006 and now I weigh 208lbs! I’ve gained at least 30lbs in the last year and nothing is working to get it off! I walk every day, eat 2 SMALL meals with a meat and veggie and have a snack of 6 crackers and a tablespoon of cream cheese in the afternoon. I exercise at least three times a week and have tried every new diet pill I’ve heard of! My stomach looks like I had a baby, stretch marks, sagging etc… I’m really starting to feel hopeless, I have a friggin double chin starting! My sex life is becoming non-existent and this morning in church a little girl was making fun of me for being big. Does anyone have ANY tips or advice, I’m really feeling down, I’m getting married in two weeks and all I can think about is how people are going to think I’m a snow-beast in a big white dress…
