P.E. First Period!!! OH NO!!!

Just got my school schedule. And I have P.E. first period, not to mention the toughest teacher. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays we have to run 2,800 steps!! On Tuesdays and Thursdays, it’s a little less intense, but still, I’m sure there’ll be no shortage of sweat!! (Yes, I do have P.E. EVERYDAY)

Anyway, I sweat easily, so I’m sure I’ll put on deodorant and perfume after. But I only have 2-3 minutes to change. GAH!

As for make-up, I wear eyeliner. It smudges A LOT even when I don’t exercise. I have no time to reapply it, any tips?

Hair? Oh my!! I straighten my hair in the morning and try to curl the ends in. On one side though, it doesn’t stay curled in real well. My hair doesn’t get real frizzy, but still, it’s gonna look so stupid if one side is straight and curled in and one side isn’t. I really like how my hair looks this way, so I’m not so sure that I want to change how I style it.

I’m so worried though! Only 2-3 minutes to change and freshen up! And some P.E. teachers let out a little late. (That’s why it could be only 2 minutes)

ALL ADVICE IS VERY APPRECIATED!!! =)

They have non smudging eye liner.

  4. wayne_freak says:

the only advice i can give is to not wear the makeup before P.E. if you know wat your doing it will only take a second to put on eyeliner so you could just do that after or even on your way to class.

I Have The Same Problem, What I Do Is Just Wear My Hair Up Everyday. It Really Helps. And About The Makeup. Just Wear Coverup, It’s Quick And Easy.

Deodorant: you’ll be fine. Put some on before P.E. and after. Don’t worry, as long as you wash every day YOU WON’T SMELL.
Make-up: I’m not sure of as brand, but you can buy eye cream which prevents your make-up smudging…. or alternatively, you could run into the loo, change in 10 seconds, and re-apply your make-up in the remaining 2 minutes and 50 seconds.
Hair: Aren’t you MADE to tie it back. If not, use a tonne of hairspray… like elnette or something.

That’s a tough one, wow, it brings back memories of jr high – aaaach. I’d skip the eyeliner in the morning, so you don’t have to worry about smudging during class… it’s only 1 class without the liner, kwim? Then apply it for the first time after class. The hair is much harder… Can you leave the curler on during class & touch up after? Can you run a tad bit late for the next class? Can you wear your hair in a pony tail for a couple of the days? Good luck…

  8. CollegeGRAD!!! says:

go to your school counselor or who ever is in charge of scheduleing. I had SWIM class 2nd period one year when i was in high school and my counselor switched it to 5th period for me! How nice huh? but you better do it early before classes are filled and you cant exchange classses!!!
BTW: You might want to come up with some lame excuse why you have to have the class later in the day (i said it was due to my period) so they have a legitimate reason to move you.

  9. Greendayalx says:

    dont try that hard.
    is PE.
    who cares about it?
its not gonna do rarely anything in your life except excersing.
and you can do that anywhere.
so dont take pe that seriously.
i dont and it doesnt mess my makeup up, and put your hair up.
    :]

ok well same here i ahve 2-3 minuets to change but this is what i do when i go to gym i wwear a bigger shirt on me so then i don’t swet as much cause the shirt is nbot right under my armpit and for the hair i straighten it too so when i am changing i put it in a low pony so then when i am done woth gym then i can just pull the pony out and no problem. as for eyeliner try to take it off when you re changing before gym starts so then you don’t have to worry about it smuging and if you ahve time then re apply it but if you don’t ohh wel you are not gonna die!! well i hope my tips help you and i feel bad for you taking gym everyday i have it everyother day

I understand your pain. I am a guy but I had PE first too. I didnt’ have enough time to do anything..I was always sweaty for the second period..cause otherwise I would have gotten a late.

I didn’t have time to shower, or do anything..
Not even mentioning styling my hair.or..when we had swimming week, I had pimples all over my face cause the cream I was putting in the morning , would all go off…

Hey, why don’t u try switching ur schedule? In my school it was possible..

  12. ♥Luv Yooh!♥ says:

Don’t worry. I had the same problem in 6th grade- plus my next class was on LITERALLY the other side of the school.
You’ll be okay. 3 minutes is actually a long time.

  13. Sierra B says:

Use a base under your eye make-up. I use Clinique Touch Base. It keeps your make up from smudging.

You could put your hair into braids before school after you style it. It’ll help prevent the frizz. Or use some maximum strength hairspray and put it up in a loose pony tail. You could also straighten the night before and put your hair in foam rollers overnight so it will have even more hold.

  14. havefunnx says:

For your eyeliner, wear waterproof, it’ll be harder to smudge when you sweat. You can also reapply it during breaks.
Your hair? Maybe tying it up while you exercise could help as it’s not in the way so much.
It shouldn’t take too long to change as long as you hurry, and don’t stop. I know it only took me around 2-3 minutes to change.
I have gym everyday too, but it’s my last period, lol.
Well, sorry I couldn’t help much, but good luck.

  15. hockeygrl33o9 says:

Try to get a clinical strength deodrant, like from any store. wear loose gym clothes to keep from sweating toooo toooo much.

for the eye liner try a diff kind, that may not smudge as much. and if you wear it on your eye lid try putting a very little bit of foundation before putting it on and it will help set it in place better.

put gel (lightly) in your hair while it is still wet and it should hold it a little better.

and to solve every problem, try to get your schedule changed!

sorry about your luck. i always had P.E as my last class.

  16. flhannahgirl says:

sometimes wat i do to make it faster is jusst go a head and put it in a ponytail..sometimes we all have to make sacrfises

maybe you shouldnt wear eyeliner or get water proof makeup
while changing dont focus on anything else and try to get to the locker room at little bit earlier

and aslo if you really want to keep your hair that way try to hairsray it!

  17. ☮ ♥ && Ü says:

well i have p.e. every day too… it’s high school for ya… i had p.e. first period when i was in 7th grade.. it’s not THAT bad. i sweat really easily too… i can’t do anything about it and i don’t think there is anything you can do but put deodorant on… i would recommend using waterproof eyeliner… see how that works. and since you don’t want your hair to be messed up and one side curled and one side straightened i’d say just don’t curl it. i guess you won’t be able to do the same style. and as for the only 2-3 minutes to change.. that’s better than nothing. so just don’t waste your time talking in the locker room. you can talk while you dress and just try to hurry up. have your teacher write you a pass if your late but don’t make it a habbit because they’ll get tired of writing you a pass every day

  18. Datsyuk13 says:

Fr sweating non-sweating deoderont is suggested.
Perfume-NOT good.Perfume will mix with the odor of your sweat and create an even worse smell. If you would like to have no swaet when leaving the gym..at sephora they have really good patches that ubsorb sweat just dab a little on the face and it will be all good….I would deffintly like to give you more advice but I really have to go.Try my advice and you will have a happy rest of the day.
And as for the eye liner try non-smudging iliner at Right-Aid.=]].

  19. dawn princess 08 says:

well, i am in middle school, and lasty year, i had p.e first period also. IT really sicks during the winter, but is great during the summer. for the eyeliner, but a better brand of eyeliner. My eyeliner is very hard to get rid of even when i take a shower. it is a black eyeliner from wet and wild wet and wild is the brand. See if you can buy it, i bought it from walmart. have you tried hair spray for putting your hair in place?

  20. Emily says:

your teacher has to let you shower after PE, ask him/her if you could be let out earlier in order to shower…or if you have any studyhalls throughout the day, ask your counselor to switch your classes

  21. California ♥ says:

    2-3 min?? you serious???
i had pe first period freshman year and i had to swim! but after a while i gave up on the hair and make up and just pulled my hair up every day and did make up in the next class with a mirror. and fixed it up some more between classes and during lunch. i think that you should worrie about the things that you can’t change during another class during the time you have..like putting deoderent on.
and i know this is sorta wierd but some of us when we knew it wasn’t going to be a big time work out day (after we didn’t do swimming any more) would put our PE clothes on over our school clothes. saves alot of time ha ha. good luck!

  22. friskyferret94 says:

first off don’t wear eyeliner because it sounds like it will get all messed up and you can’t fix it
right after gym (or you could even ask to go to the bathroom before gym is over to get a head start) go to the bathroom and get a wet paper towel and put it on your face, that should cool you off really quick. after you cool off dry off with a different paper towel.
when you change dry off any excess sweat with your gym shirt (or a towel if you have one).
during gym try to exert yourself the minimum possible (don’t let on to the teachers that you aren’t trying though, if you are consistent they will think you just aren’t fit).
after you have your regular clothes on you could dry off your face real quick again if you need to

if you want a break from gym come up with some bs doctor note for something. teachers won’t know if its fake

its kind of cruel how they make you run and get sweaty in gym then expect you to be clean and neat for the rest of the day with only a couple minutes to freshen up. they should give you guys enough time to shower or at least freshen up if they’re going to force you to exercise

  23. o ♥ x ♥ Violet ♥ x ♥ o says:

Wow thats tough! My school only does PE twice a week. And we have like at least 5 mins to change…maybe 10 if they get bored and let us go in early!
You are going to have to practice getting changed really quickly…
i would not bother with eyeliner in the morning…and just apply it when you are getting back changed so it doesnt smudge during PE. And as for hair….i dont really see what you can do but tie it back. Maybe you could sort it out at break and just wear it up until then.
I still cant believe you have PE everyday! Thats tough…!

  24. Kaitlyn S. says:

Bring a towel into gym with you if you can and wipe the sweat off of you as much as possible. Wear liquid eye liner instead of the stick. Apply liquid eye liner to the top of your eyelid. It smudges less easily. Apply more mascara than you usually do… but make sure it doesn’t look clumpy. As for your hair… just let it do its thing. Honestly, don’t worry about it. Just pull it back into a ponytail… or just let it go natural. Don’t change the style of your hair just for stupid gym class. Just bring deoderant and spray to freshin up. Your gym class will be over before you know it. Don’t worry about it too much. Best of luck!

  25. Malli says:

That’s awful. I use to have it 3rd period, and that was bad enough.

My suggestion is just to have your schedule changed. If they won’t change it and it’s that important to you, then you could drop one of your electives and pick up another that would force them to change it for you.

If none if that works, then tell your teacher you want to take showers after class and maybe she’ll let you leave early and you could do your makeup then.
